If you are interested in commissioning an instrument, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss the details of the project — including model, measurements, tonal preferences, varnish, and any other considerations important to you as a player.
Each instrument is built individually and with considerable time and attention. In order to maintain realistic timelines and the standard of work the workshop is committed to, commissions are accepted only as confirmed orders. Once confirmed, your instrument is placed into the workshop schedule and an approximate completion timeframe is provided.
The commission price is fixed at the time the order is placed.
Should you wish, updates and photographs from the making process can be shared periodically, allowing you to follow the progress of your instrument as it develops from raw materials through to completion.
